This is a slightly, lightweight folding knife with a narrow long blade.

The knife is originally used by the higher class of society for culinary use, therefore it wasn't a convenient fit for a peasant.

The "Szalonnázó" is named after its function (the word "Szalonnázó" means prepare bacon for consumption), because you could easily cut off a huge slice with it from a larger piece of bacon.
